Overview:
Giving a successful presentation is not easy, giving it in a language that is not your mother tongue makes it even more difficult.
In this 4 days’-course the participants will learn how to deliver presentations in a clear way. They will learn useful language to deliver the presentations in English. In addition, participants will learn how to structure presentations, how to make effective slides, and techniques to help overcome presentation anxiety.
Objectives:
The main objective of this course is to learn how to effectively communication a message to the respective audience and to various stakeholders within international projects.
Outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will have:
- acquired improved English language proficiency,
- enhanced your communication skills in English,
- increased your confidence in presenting in English,
- improved your presentation techniques.
Targets:
The course is aimed at project management staff in an international setting such as Erasmus+ projects.
Programme:
Day 1: Planning and Structuring Presentations
Understanding the purpose of a presentation and identifying the audience, developing a clear objective and organising the content, integrating multimedia.
Day 2: Preparing and Practicing Presentations
How to start and how to end a presentation, developing and practicing engaging delivery techniques using the storytelling method.
Day 3: Overcoming Presentation Anxiety
Identifying causes for presentation anxiety and coping strategies, building confidence, using relaxation techniques.
